Have you ever heard someone say ouch that hurts? Have you ever said this yourself? You’ve heard sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. Hmmm hurt has no gender, hurt is a secret weapon that most of us do not see coming. Hurt has a way of leaving you crippled and handicap. It leaves you in a position of not wanting, and notice i said not wanting to trust anyone. Now we have the ability to trust again, but you have to be willing to trust the God in the people that hurt you. Yes I know its hard and I know that its the question running in the back of your mind is, “can I trust them not to do it again”. Well thats me, we all have been hurt and we all have caused some type of hurt. However when are we going to become big enough and say “ouch that hurt”, and start believing God, that he can fix me and the person that caused the hurt. I was sitting in my office and began to talk to a young lady and realize that her story was me. Can you imagine sitting in the seat spilling your hurt, and see yourself siting there being the one who caused the hurt and being hurt all in the same time? Needing to be healed from the hurt you caused and from the hurt you received. Ouch you hurt me, can sometimes be the only thing that could be heard because sometimes hurt has no sound its just the aftereffect you feel to know you've been hurt.
Psalm 147:3 (AMP) 3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds [curing their pains and their sorrows].
May I suggest to you that you right be hurting now and it may hurt for a little while or even for a long while. But God is here to heal the brokeness of whatever hurt you have experienced and you will look back and say “OUCH THAT HURT!” Past tense but it didn't take me out. Until next time stay Rescued and encourage and thank you for reading. I'm Pastorsaw.org and I approve this message!!!
