The Promises of God

Hello World! Today was such a amazing day! God really showed us his Glory in service today at Rescued Church. Today was "Pink Stiletto Sunday" supporting breast awareness month. It was so beautiful. we had a speaker who presented the audience with material for women and men to go get annual breast exam and gave us educational tools for us to take home. then there was a spoken word artist who shared a piece of material from a woman experience through breast cancer and having victory through the power of God. It was so moving. Praise and WORSHIP was OFF THE CHAIN!!

While enjoying service i seen how God has kept his promise(s) to his people. How Men and Women are about to experience the Power of God through the promises He made to them in dreams and visions. I am remembering Pastor Shawn sermon last Wednesday were he taught about the promises of God. How we will be made famous. Not famous pertaining to national tv. Well some of us will experience that exposure but famous to our peers and haters. those who doubted we would be called into leadership in ministry. Today I seen how God is using those who were outcast by family, peers and even congregation members for His Glory. Jesus spoke of this to his disciples that many who are last will become first. "But many who are first will be last, and the last first."- Matthew 19:30

This is so encouraging knowing that God knows were some of us are today. That the promises he has given us will never go void because he is God. God is not a man were he will lie about the promises he makes. We as human beings but a pause button on the promises because we decided to deliever them on our will. Were we need to be at a place prepared to recieve the promises only from God. I like the "Prerequisites of Your Promise" by Pastor Shawn Ward.

  1. Be Crazy enough- We as Christians have to be crazy because one we believe in a God that we have not seen and Believe in him enough the he will bless us.

  2. Willing to let go

  3. Leave people and emotions behind - I can preach on that for a month straight

  4. Trust yourself! God has given us Confidence in Him to empower us to have confidence in ourselves. Meaning if we tap into the Creator who sees us as beautifully and wonderfully made we will see the transformation in our everyday lives.

  5. Stop doubting the process: There will be days were you do not see the promises God has for your lives. I can not stress enough to you to put your flesh in check!

Your flesh feeds off a doubt and depression. it wants us to be lazy and without purpose. Your flesh does not want you to obey God and wait on Him. He wants your to turn your back. So learn how to not listen to the little evil man on your shoulder. Cast that little sucker away in the Hell he knows were he lives. When doubt comes to creep in remember that God knows whats better for your lives. His way is so peaceful and straight. He promised Abraham nation of kids through a woman who was barren. He did it for him! He sholl will do it for you. Trust God; Trust the dreams He showed you; Trust the word He spoke over you; Trust the freedom in placed in your Heart. Trust in the name of Jesus that seal every prayer you prayed in. Trust the God the one who gave you life and desire to live.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."- Proverbs 3:5-6

"Jesus answered them, "Truly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what has been done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, 'Be taken up and thrown into the sea, 'it will happen. And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."- Matthew 21:21-22
